Starry Nights @ SFU: Astro Grads!
Tyee Elementary - Thursday April 16 2009

On Thursday April 16 2009 we hosted 34 Grade 3/4 students from Tyee Elementary, led by their teacher Ms. Alane Lublow, along with a group of parents who were at least as eager and involved as the children, a group of keeners in the most positive and productive of ways! It was very gratifying to hear from one parent that the kids were trading the astronomy cards as enthusiastically as Pokemons on their way back to school! The school also posted a story on the workshop in their on-line newsletter! Many thanks to volunteers Sarmita Majumder, Donna Hohertz, Sherry Lu, and Sherry Leung.
