Comet Holmes from SFU
on October 30 2007!
We took advantage of an exciting opportunity to see Comet Holmes on October 30 2007!
A group of about 25 students from Introduction to Astronomy, Physics 190 had gathered to work on observational activities for the course. The comet was plainly visible as a fuzzy patch to the naked eye, in the constellation of Perseus (not far from the variable star Algol, which we identified that night as part of the experiential activities for the course).
