FASS One at Surrey
FASS One is a First Year Experience (FYE) admission option offered by the SFU Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at Surrey. FASS One provides a solid foundation for students interested in completing a major in one (or more) of the following subject areas: anthropology, criminology, economics, English, history, international studies, philosophy, political science, psychology, and sociology.
FASS One allows students interested in Arts and Social Sciences to spend their first year studying at the Surrey campus, full-time over two terms. In each of the fall and spring terms, students complete at least three SFU Surrey courses, including at least two courses offered by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Students have priority access to courses recommended by departments/schools for their intended major or program of interest.
Further details can be found at www.sfu.ca/surrey/fass/undergraduate/fass-one.html.
Students are free to complete other Simon Fraser University courses offered at any campus or by the Centre for Online and Distance Education.
