Are you planing to be a Career Peer? Since this is my bio, probably you won't find much here, just go read the Full Volunteer Description.pdf or talk to me in person. Anyway, I am Thomas Nguyen, a 4th year student at SFU concentrating on Management Information System.

2 words about me: lazy and curious. I could be super busy one day and do nothing on the next because of my laziness, the only difference is commitment. Have you ever fought with yourself between doing something useful or just relaxing? I have those thoughts constantly across the day, and need plenty of methods to keep being productive, for an ultimate goal: "Make today so awesome that yesterday gets jealous" (SFU gym mirror). To stay away from laziness, I push myself out of my comfort zone in an unfavorable way, but thanks to Curiosity, I can do it happily and passionately. It's a non-stop fight but if you need someone to keep yourself accountable, I am here for you.

I love technology because it keep amazed me with new possibilities, and make our lives so much lazier easier, so we can do more with less. One year ago, I did not see myself do much programming as a business student, only to regret not starting earlier since it's a routine for me now. It's amazing how opportunities open to you the more open-minded you are.

With the low study load, I have chance to try many other activities outside of academic, and have a better sense of what I want to do in the future. I hope with my experience of being a person with many flaws trying to find a better me, I can relate to your struggles and resolve them together. Remember, nobody is perfect.
