West Coast Virtual Fair Returns This Fall!

After four successful virtual fairs, Simon Fraser University (SFU), University of British Columbia (UBC) and the University of Victoria (UVic) are back with the West Coast Virtual Fairs 2022: Career, Volunteer & Graduate Schools. Our institutions are excited to offer all students and alumni the opportunity to connect with over 150 exhibitors this fall.

What to Expect?

  • Visit exhibitor booths to learn more about their organizations and their opportunities.
  • 1-on-1 sessions: Enjoy 15-minute private conversations with recruiters using the video conferencing tool embedded in the platform.
  • Group Sessions: Join recruiters for group info sessions with other students.
  • Receive live support from our Career Education Specialists and Career Peers.

To get you ready for the fair, enroll in the Career Ready Changemaker program and receive credits for your Co-Curricular Record. 

Student Guide

We will be uploading a step-by-step guide on how the create your profile and navigate the virtual fair platform closer to the event date. Please come back by mid October to download the guide here.

Exhibitors List

We will be having 150+ organizations representing a wide range of industries and sectors attending this fair. They will be here to promote their career, co-op and volunteer opportunities as well as graduate school and professional development programs.

The list of exhibitors will be available by mid-October once we have completed all the employer registration.

Accessibility

  • The virtual event platform also provides text-based chat to support students and alumni.
  • It is not compulsory to have your camera and/or microphone on.
  • You do not have to be present for the entirety of the fair. We encourage students to schedule breaks in between their sessions.
