Whether your next step is academia or industry, this free workshop series will help you evaluate your current situation, interests and strengths, explore your values and priorities and identify future possibilities.
Sessions must be completed in order. All workshops take place in LIB 7010, Burnaby Campus
Session 1: Getting Started
Tuesday October 1, 9:30-11:30 or Wednesday October 9, 4:30-6:30
- Explore your interests, strengths, and values and identify a diverse range of career possibilities
Session 2: Connecting the Dots and Prioritizing
Tuesday October 15, 9:30-11:30 or Thursday October 17, 4:30-6:30
- Prioritize what matters most and craft a statement about your career that will act like a compass moving forward
Session 3: Taking Action and Moving Forward
Wednesday October 23, 4:30-6:30 or Tuesday October 29, 9:30-11:30
- Create an action plan enabling you to make the best choices in your career, work, and life
