Fall term starts September 2; last day of exams is December 14.

Enrollment appointments begin online July 7; open enrollment begins July 26.

Classes: add/swap/change tutorial

September 8 (Monday) Last day to add classes, swap classes, change tutorials using the Student Information System
September 15 (Monday) Last day to enroll for class challenge or switch your challenge from one class to another or regular enrollment in a class, with permission of the department. (You can’t withdraw from class challenge without substituting a regular class.)
September 22 (Monday)
Last day to add classes through the department, with permission of the chair and instructor. Last day to change tutorials through the department. Last day to change a class to audit status.

September 8 (Monday) Last day to completely withdraw from all classes using the Student Information System, with no notation on your academic record
September 15 (Monday) Last day to drop a class using the Student Information System, without a withdrawal notation of “WD” for the course on your academic record. If withdrawing from all classes, a withdrawal notation of “Withdrew YYYY-MM-DD” will be added to your academic record. 
 October 6 (Monday)
Last day to drop a class using the Student Information System, with a withdrawal notation (WD) on your academic record.
November 28 (Friday) Last day to apply to drop classes in the current term under extenuating circumstances (WE). (Applications received after this date will be considered retroactive and may take longer to process.)

Fees: payment and refunds/penalties

Payment
September 15 (Monday) Deadline to pay tuition and student fees. A 2% late fee penalty will be assessed after the due date and on the first of each month thereafter.
October 17 (Friday) Deadline to pay Co-op Practicum fees.

Refunds/penalties
August 1 (Friday) Last day for 100% refund of tuition.
August 2 (Saturday) to September 8 (Monday) Penalty of $50 for each class dropped (maximum total penalty $100) during this period, if your net course load has decreased.
September 9 (Tuesday) to September 15 (Monday) Penalty of $100 for each class dropped during this period, if your net course load has decreased.
September 16 (Tuesday) No refund for courses dropped. A tuition drop penalty will be calculated and posted to your student account in the third week of classes. A 2% late fee penalty will be assessed after tuition deadline and on the first of each month thereafter.

Distance education materials/refunds

August 18 (Monday) Class material pickup begins.
October 8 (Wednesday) Deadline to return class material for applicable material refund.

Financial aid and awards

July 7 – 25 (Monday to Friday) Work-study application period.
August 25 – September 12 (Monday to Friday) Bursary only application period.
September 12 (Friday) Deadline for application for private scholarships.

Grades online

December 5 (Friday) Grades from Fall term begin to be posted online.

Graduation application/cancellation

September 2 (Tuesday) Deadline to cancel application to graduate in October 2014 convocation ceremonies, if you are completing degree requirements in the Summer 2014 term.
October 17 (Friday) Early deadline to apply for the early application fee on the Student Information System for graduation in June 2015 convocation ceremonies, if you are completing degree requirements in the Fall 2014 term. Note that the graduation fee will be charged for each degree, diploma and certificate for which you are applying.
December 12 (Friday) Final deadline to apply and pay for the regular application fee on the Student Information System for graduation in June 2015 convocation ceremonies, if you are completing degree requirements in the Fall 2014 term. Note that the graduation fee will be charged for each degree, diploma and certificate for which you are applying.
January 6 (Tuesday) Deadline to cancel application to graduate in June 2015 convocation ceremonies, if you are completing degree requirements in Fall 2014 term.
