The Ryan Beedie Leadership Awards
Payment One:
To receive the first payment, you must meet the minimum admission standard on final marks and be enrolled in and complete a minimum of 9 SFU standard graded units in your first term.
Payments Two and Onwards:
To receive the second and all subsequent payments, you must achieve a minimum SFU CGPA of 2.00 on any attempted SFU work, be enrolled in at least 9 SFU standard graded units, and continue to be majoring in a business degree program in the Beedie School of Business.
You must receive the award payments within the first eighteen terms of starting at SFU.
During the terms when you meet the CGPA requirements and:
- do not register in classes, your award will be automatically deferred to a future term when you meet eligibility criteria again.
- register in less than 9 SFU standard graded units, your award will be deferred to a future term when you meet eligibility criteria again. Your academic performance for those SFU units will be reviewed when assessing your eligibility for your future entrance scholarship payments, whether you received a payment or not.
If you do not meet the above eligibility criteria, your award may be permanently cancelled. Please see a Financial Aid Advisor if you have any questions or concerns.
