HCS offers a number of vaccinations, but before any can be administered patients need to book an appointment to discuss immunization history and present needs with a nurse or doctor. If you are going travelling HCS recommends a travel health consultation to get you the information and vaccines you need.
Vaccinations available at HCS include:
Influenza (also known as the Flu): $20.00/dose

Hepatitis A: $60.00/dose
Hepatitis B: $38.00/dose
Gardasil-9 (HPV Vaccine): $165.00/dose
Hepatitis A & B (Twinrix): $63.00/dose
Menactra (Meningococcal Quadrivalent Vaccine covers strains A, C, Y & W-135): $120.00/dose
Adacel (Tetanus, Diptheria, Pertussis): $42.00/dose
*Yellow Fever: $115.00/dose (Very limited supply, please see below for details)
Publicly funded (MSP) vaccines based on patient eligibility:
Gardasil-9 (HPV Vaccine)
Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR)
Tetanus, Diptheria (Td)
Tetanus, Diptheria, Polio

*If you do not have MSP and are paying via private insurer, there will be an additional administrative cost.
Note: Yellow Fever Vaccine shortage
Please note that there is current;y a shortage of in yellow fever vaccine due to delays in production process. Continued efforts are being made to resolve issue. Unfortunately, they anticipate the shortage to continue until late 2018.
What does this mean?
- Designated Yellow fever vaccine sites, such as our Burnaby Clinic will be allotted a very small amount of vaccine every few months.
- During higher travel seasons, we may run out of our supply until we are able to acquire more yellow fever vaccine.
- While supplies are available, those who have received their travel consult from our HCS Travel Medicine Doctor. Unfortunately we can not reserve the vaccine.
