Out On Campus provides an accessible and inclusive space for all students. 

Join Out On Campus and Health & Counselling Services' clinical counsellor, Jocelyn Coburn, for facilitated drop-in discussion groups this semester. Each date focuses on a different topic. Read about each session below. 

 

Schedule for Spring 2020

January 22 - Sexual Assault Awareness

A conversation about nurturing resilience and safety after trauma. Discuss how trauma can effect boundaries and communication and how to re-connect with a sense of agency.

February 5 - Substance Abuse

A safe space for those who want to talk about their own relationship with substance use and/or how substance use factors in to student and queer culture.

February 19 - Navigating Families (Chosen & Biological)

A discussion about the systems we were born into and create and how to navigate them.

March 4 - Sexual & Romantic Pressure in the Dating App World

A space for all romantic identities to discuss ways of feeling whole and fulfilled when single or not having sex.

March 18 - Healthy Relationship Discussion Group (Poly, Open, & Kink Friendly)

A discussion group for folks in relationships about navigating the challenges of dating and communication.

April 1 - Trans Day of Visibility

Sharing stories and connection through radical self-acceptance of trans bodies.
