Registering your plan with SFU

Updated June 22, 2021

You must register your plans for travel and self-isolation with SFU by submitting the International Arrival Plan. This will also give you better access to supports during your self-isolation.

Step 1. Register your plans for travel and self-isolation to SFU

Register your plan with SFU as early as possible, so we can support you before and after your arrival in Canada. An SFU staff member should contact you within two business days to discuss your self-isolation plan.

Step 2. Keep updated: SFU COVID-19 FAQ

If you have any additional questions, please reach out to

Step 3. SFU COVID-19 Course

You must complete a COVID-19 training course. We all play a role in contributing to a safe and healthy campus community. This training will ensure that the safety and protection of everyone remains a priority.

By the end of this training, you will be able to:

  • Describe COVID-19 symptoms and how it is transmitted,
  • List the symptoms to watch for and what to do if you have symptoms,
  • Describe what SFU is doing to ensure your safety,
  • Describe the expectations of you as an SFU community member

SFU is following all Orders declared by Provincial Health Officers; regular monitoring of Orders and public health guidance will be part of SFU’s routine operations; and plans, protocols, and processes will be updated routinely to reflect the dynamic nature of the COVID-19 pandemic.
