First Aid training

Would you like to be more prepared to help in first aid emergencies? We offer a variety of courses to help, all taught by certified instructors.

CPR C recertification

Certification expiry: 3 years

If it has been more than 5 years since the candidate's last recert, it is recommended, though not required, to register for a full CPR C course.

If candidate is doing their NLS certification, their CPR C must have been issued within the past year.

If your CPR C card has been lost or stolen, there is a $15 replacement fee. Please contact rec@sfu.ca to request your new card.

Standard First Aid  

This course will provide training in life threatening priorities such as breathing, bleeding, shock, poisons. CPR C and AED are included. Training will also include injuries such as those to head, spine, bones, joints and injuries due to heat and cold. This course is a prerequisite for the National Lifeguard Service.
