Lost your ID Card or want to extend your membership? Follow the steps below to continue accessing facilities and services.
Renew membership
Students
As an eligible student, you have to renew your membership by agreeing to and submitting a new liability waiver form online as follows:
If your eligibility status changes at any point, your membership will deactivate and you will have to visit the portal at athleticsandrecreation.its.sfu.ca to purchase a membership.
Staff and Faculty
As an eligible staff or faculty member, you have to renew your membership by agreeing to and submitting a new liability waiver form online as follows:
- Burnaby: each September at myinfo.sfu.ca
- Surrey:Â each term at the Surrey Registrar office
Ineligible staff and faculty members can renew their membership up to 30 days before the current membership expires on your profile page at athleticsandrecreation.its.sfu.ca.

Replace membership
Students, Staff and Faculty
You can get a replacement SFU ID Card from the Burnaby Registrar’s office (top floor of Maggie Benston Centre) or at either the Surrey or Vancouver Campus Registrar offices.Â
The replacement fee for lost or stolen SFU ID Card is $17.27.

Community
If you lose your Recreation Membership ID Card you can get a new one from the Recreation office (Lorne Davis Complex 110).Â
A replacement fee of $17 may be assessed.
