Intramural leagues

SFU intramural leagues offer the opportunity to play organized sports on campus. Recreation student leaders supervise, schedule and administer a wide variety of sports in both competitive and recreational leagues.

Visit us on Facebook to view all the previous intramural champions.

Competitive leagues

A team fee is required to organize these exciting leagues, which include added benefits:

  • Paid officials (except Volleyball and Dodgeball)
  • Additional league managers
  • Supplied equipment
  • Detailed weekly standings
  • Scheduled playoff format for qualifying teams
  • League winners also earn Intramural Championship T-Shirts!

Recreational leagues

Recreational leagues are free to join, play is more relaxed and games are self-officiated. Weekly games are scheduled and supervised by the recreation sports student staff.

  • The Rec Div 1 league is for players who are looking for friendly competition.
  • The Rec Div 2 league is catered for beginners and does not include playoffs.
