Volunteer and Workstudy opportunities
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the SFU Sustainability Advisory Committee. We are currently looking to fill the following volunteer and work study positions. We will be updating this page frequently so check back for more opportunities soon. The positions listed below are for the SFU Sustainability Advisory Committee. Volunteer Positions: Staff & Faculty
Staff Sustainability Ambassador Program
Staff are invited to apply to the SFU Sustainability Ambassador Program. Ambassadors are sustainability educators and advocates in their departments. Their role is to inspire and support their colleagues so that they can learn about and integrate sustainability activities into their daily work days. Learn more here
Academic Sub-Committee of the Sustainability Advisory Committee
Faculty members who want to contribute to the achievement of SFU's academic sustainability goals can join the Academic Sub-Commitee. Email sustainability@sfu.ca and check back soon for a link to a new page with details.
Volunteer Positions: Students
We are currently accepting applications from students for two types of volunteer position:
1) Casual short-term volunteer contracts to assist with small projects

2) Eight month internships to contribute to priority initiatives including:
- Marketing & Communications Internship May 11-December 15, 2009
