About the Blog

The Talking Sustainability Blog is our online dialogue hub. Its purpose is to provide an easily accessible space for members of the SFU community to converse with each other as we all consider how we might build a better world and how sustainability relates to building this world.

Each week, Sustainability Office staff and guest bloggers from the SFU community and beyond will post articles on different topics related to building a better world and the concept of sustainability. We invite and encourage community members to respond to, elaborate on, or to otherwise explore sustainability, and the future that we want, through the blog.

While Sustainability Office staff have experience, education and a passion for sustainability, we know there are many others within our community who share our interests, concerns and desire to create the change that moves us to a more sustainable culture. They can bring a wealth of experience, perspectives and expertise to this important conversation. We hope to build from SFU’s strength in dialogue and engage SFU community members in building a conversation that is robust, meaningful and productive.
