Welcome to Introduction to Photoshop!<br><br>Week 1 Lesson Plan:<br><br>This week, we'll start by going through Photoshop's applications in the industry. Then we will get familiar with what it can produce and show you a few inspirational links.<br><br>Skills: <br>We'll Introduce the Tool Bar, Menus, Pallettes, Contextual Toolbar, Filters, File Browser, Layers, History, Photo Manipulation tools and other Photoshop interface features. We'll also explain their functions.<br><br>Concepts:<br>We will explain how Photoshop manipulates images and explain the concepts of distortion and artifacts.<br> <br>We'll also explain keyboard shortcuts and talk about 5 of the often-used shortcuts. <br><br>Exercise:<br>We will go through the Photo retouching tutorial together. <br> <br>Wrap-up:<br>We'll remind you of the resources available and briefly go through the ones posted. As well, there will be time for students to ask questions and play around in the software.
