Premier - Advanced Editing

Week 3 Lesson Plan:

This lesson we will start by showing you some examples of excellent editing using more advanced editing techniques. We will be looking at scenes from several motion pictures like Requiem for a Dream and Snatch. Then we will show you how you can achieve simular effects.

Skills:
We%27ll introduce some more advanced video editing skills such as video manipulation, using text, keyframe based effects, and sound editing.

Concepts:
We%27ll go through how to use certain video and sound filters and sound editing tools like enveloping, panning, amplitude and other Premier interface features and explain their functions.

Then we will demonstrate 5 more often-used Premier shortcuts.

We%27ll remind you of the resources available and briefly go through the ones posted. As well, there will be time for you to ask questions and play around in the software.
