Premier - Compositing

Week 4 Lesson Plan:
(There will be one extra review class for Adobe Audition this week for those who need it. It will be outside of regular TLS hours.)

This lesson we will start by showing you some examples of some videos which use compositing and motion graphics. We will be looking at scenes from several motion pictures and commercials. Then we will show you how you can achieve simular effects.

Skills:
We%27ll show you how to import graphics from photoshop and animate them. We will show you how some compositing techniques such as green screens and luma keys. As well as color correction tools and how to export and compress your movies.

Concepts:
We%27ll go through how to composite video and images, animate imported graphics, and do color correction. We will show you several different compression formats and what they should be used for.

Exercise:
We%27ll go through the Premier - Compositing tutorial together.

Wrap-up
We%27ll remind you of the resources available and briefly go through the ones posted. As well, there will be time for you to ask questions and play around in the software.
