Flash: Video in Flash

This lesson we will start by showing you several flash websites that make use of video. We will show you ways of doing this.

Skills:
We will show you how to compress movie files into FLV%27s using Sorenson Squeeze, import them into Flash and manipulate them.

Concepts:
We will show you how to manage movies on an flash site by putting them in movie clips, loading seperate SWF%27s, etc.

Exercise:
We wil go through the tutorial with you and show you how to import an FLV into Flash, put it in a Movie Clip, and create buttons that allow you to Play and Stop the movie.

Wrap-up:
We%27ll remind you of the resources available and briefly go through the ones posted. As always, there will be time for students to ask questions and play around in the software.
