Week 3 Lesson Plan:
This lesson, we'll first go through Illustrator's applications in the industry and then show you some related inspirational links.
Skills:
We'll introduce the Tool Bar and all Tools, Menus, Palettes, Contextual Toolbar, Filters, Layers, The Pathfinder and other Illustrator interface features and explain their functions.
Concepts:
We'll spend extra time going through how to draw with the Path Tool and explaining how it works.
We will also further explain Vector graphics and their advantages.
Finally, we'll demonstrate 5 of the often-used illustrator keyuboard shortcuts.
Exercise:
We'll go through the line drawing tutorial together.
Wrap-up:
We'll remind you of the resources available and briefly go through the ones posted. As well, there will be time for students to ask questions and play around in the software.
