Online donations - open in August 2011

Please contribute to SFU's fundraising initiative by donating online via the Terry Fox Research Foundation official website. You may donate to the general "SFU – Community Donations" team name that has been set up by the SFU Terry Fox organizing committee, or donate to another SFU team name or individual who has registered to collect donations online.

  1. navigate to the official Terry Fox web page (www.terryfox.org)
  2. click on 'Donate Now' button
  3. click on 'Donate Online' link
  4. click on 'To a Terry Fox Run participant, event or team' link
  5. in the left margin, click on 'Individual and Team Search' link
  6. click on the Team Search tab
  7. under the Team Name option, enter SFU - Community Donations (or other team name you wish to support)
  8. press the 'Search' button
  9. click on link to 'SFU – Community Donations' (or other team name you wish to support)
  10. click on 'Sponsor this team' button
  11. Fill in the information as requested.

Alternatively, you may also search for an individual or SFU Terry Fox team by locating the SFU run site on the official Terry Fox website. On the teams' page, under the 'Location' option, select 'SFU - Burnaby' from the drop down menu. Then select the SFU team from the list of team names posted to date.

NOTE: Once you've made your online contribution, you'll be immediately issued a tax receipt.

Feel free to drop off your contribution at the donation table in Convocation Mall 11:15 am to 1:30 pm.

Pre and Post Event

Watch for "Change for Cancer" coin jars around the Burnaby and Surrey Campuses in local offices, coffee shops and restaurants.
