Get involved

Participate in the SFU Burnaby 4.4 km run or 2.8 km walk

  • Register online -- either as an individual or part of a SFUteam
  • For more information on teams, check out the teams page
  • See the event page for more information and detailed schedule of events
  • People of all fitness levels are welcome for the walk/run!

Volunteerroad marshalls

 

 

Generally, 75 volunteers are needed to assist in various capacities, and will be asked to be available from 11:00 to 1:00 pm on event day, Wednesday, September 21, Convocation Mall.

All volunteers will receive a complimentary lunch.

Here a some of the opportunities at Burnaby Campus:

cheering squad
  • Road marshals for directing walkers/runners (65)
    Cheering brigade (the more the merrier)
    Coat/bag check attendants
    Lunch ticket sellers
    Lunch line controllers
    Set-up/take-down crew
