Registration

Everyone participating in the Terry Fox walk/run events at Burnaby, Surrey or Vancouver campuses should sign up via the

SFU online registration form.

If you know your team name, please include it on the registration form. As team names are received by the SFU Terry Fox organizing committee, they will be posted here: Teams List

See the next section to learn how to enter a team name.

Although not required, participants are encouraged to fundraise individually or as part of a team effort. For more information visit: sfu.ca/terryfox/fundraising.html

Step 1 – Send an email to terryfox-team@sfu.ca and include:

• your name
• your contact information (email and phone number)
• proposed team name.

You will receive an email welcoming you as a new team captain within two business days. It will include information specific for team captains.

Step 2 – Read the information from the Organizing Committee and start encouraging prospective team members to register online on the SFU online registration form, and to collect pledges online via the official Terry Fox website via the steps on the Fundraising page.

Step 3 – Collect donations. As a team captain, your role is to encourage as many team members as possible to participate in the event, to have fun, and to help raise funds.
