Individuals and Teams for Walk/Run
Individual registration
Everyone participating in the Terry Fox events at Burnaby, Surrey or Vancouver campuses should register online.
To join a team already registered for the SFU event
- Click Teams List to review the list of registered teams and decide which team you would like to join. (To register a team, see below.)
- Then click here SFU online registration form to register.
- Answer 'Yes' to the question, "Do you wish to be part of a team?" and type the team name in the provided box.
- Closer to the date of the walk/run, you should receive a welcome email from your new team captain.
To start a new team for the SFU event
Send an email to terryfox-team@sfu.ca with your name, your contact information (email and phone number), and the proposed team name.
You will receive an email welcoming you as a new team captain within 2 business days.
Start contacting prospective team members and encourage them to register online on the SFU registration form, and to collect pledges online via the official Terry Fox website via the steps on the Fundraising page.
As a team captain, your role is to encourage your team members to participate in the event and help raise funds - see our Fundraising page for more information regarding online donations.
