THE LOCATION:
The 2nd International Conference of Thalia Germanica took place from the 25th-28th of July, 1997 in the Rococo Castle Blankenburg im Harz, once a residence of the dukes of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel. In connection with the Brunswick Fair, the Blankenburg Court was once a hub for itinerant players in Europe.
