Wrap-up: 2016 Symposium on Teaching and Learning

SFU's 15th Annual Symposium on Teaching and Learning took place on May 18–19, 2016, with Pre-Symposium sessions on May 17. More than 200 participants attended the event. The theme was "Universal Design for All Learners." Thomas J. Tobin of Northeastern Illinois University was the keynote speaker.

SFU's 15th Annual Symposium on Teaching and Learning was a great success in terms of attendance, content and organization. Presentations centred on the theme of “Universal Design for All Learners"—the idea that accessibility should be a core consideration in course design for the benefit of all students rather than an accommodation implemented reactively for individuals with particular disabilities. Below are links to resources from the Symposium.
