Volunteer Opportunities
- Become a campaign rep
- Request United Way posters and pamphlets for your department, unit or personal work space.
- Organize a fundraiser in your department or unit, e.g. participate in Bake Sale Day or hold a Chilli Cook Off Challenge.
- Host a coffee break, brownbag lunch or other event in your department or unit and invite a United Way speaker or show a United Way video.
Send your speaker request to united-way@sfu.ca and find videos at http://uwlm.ca/our-impact/overview.
- To support the Book Sale, collect books, CDs and DVDs and drop them off in the Bennett Library (Burnaby) or Belzberg Library (Vancouver)
(large donations to Bennett Library Receiving. No magazines or encyclopedias please.
- Buy books, baked goods or otherwise participate in the United Way fund raising events your SFU friends and colleagues work so hard to organize.
