Photos of Simon Fraser University’s Spring Convocation honorary degree recipients are available on a flickr site for media to download: http://at.sfu.ca/rfjkii. For more details on Convocation, check here.
Convocation began on Tuesday and runs through Friday. The flickr site contains photos from the honorary degree ceremonies of retired Vancouver Sun business writer David Baines (Tuesday afternoon), and former Prime Minister Kim Campbell, whose honorary degree was conferred Wednesday afternoon.
Honorary degrees will also be conferred Thursday afternoon on experimental psychologist Steven Pinker and Friday morning, on designer John Maeda.
Then on Friday afternoon, SFU will install its 11th Chancellor, Anne Giardini. PAMR will make photos available (on the same flickr site). The ceremony begins at 3 p.m. and photos will be available before 5 p.m.
