Courses

The Urban Studies Program normally offers courses in Fall, Spring and Summer semesters with courses held in the evenings at the Harbour Centre campus in downtown Vancouver. Other URB seminar courses may be offered once per year or less frequently depending on student demand and faculty availability.

For the M.Urb program, two of the three required seminar courses (URB 670 and URB 696) are normally offered once per year. URB 697 and URB 699 can be offered in any semester.

Two 4-credit hour courses (or above) per semester is considered a full-time load. Students must enroll in at least one course every three consecutive semesters to maintain an active registration in the program.

Tentative course offerings are normally posted one semester in advance.
