Adjunct professor Lisa Freeman was interviewed about her libraries research for the Early Edition program on CBC Radio this week, in advance of her public lecture, Redefining the Public in Public Libraries.

In discussing the role of libraries in cities and urban planning, Dr. Freeman said, "In thinking about how our cities are changing, I feel like librarians are kind of on the front lines of those changes and are really navigating some tricky societal questions, particularly around people who are marginally housed.”
