SFU Vancouver Wellness Studio

There are many free wellness classes available to students, staff and faculty at SFU's Vancouver campus. Classes take place in the Vancouver Wellness Studio, located in the Harbour Centre building. SFU Health and Counselling Services also offers programming in the space.

The Vancouver Wellness Studio is an extension of SFU’s Vancouver Campus INgagement Programs, designed to build a greater sense of community at SFU Vancouver by increasing campus engagement and developing more opportunities for our students, staff and faculty to interact.

Location

The Vancouver Wellness Studio is located on the second floor of the Harbour Centre building, room 2530.  

Using the Vancouver Wellness Studio

To use the Vancouver Wellness Studio, you must meet the following:

  • Be an SFU student, staff or faculty member
  • Complete an SFU Recreation & Athletics Waiver once per year
    • Students can fill out the Waiver online at go.sfu.ca
    • Staff and faculty can fill out the Waiver online at myinfo.sfu.ca
    • Non-credit students can fill out a hard copy of the Waiver in the Wellness Studio

*Attendance to classes is first-come-first-served and limited to 15 people per class. Classes can fill up quickly and when they reach capacity, we will not accept any more attendees. Please arrive early as access to class will end at the posted start time.

*Before participating in any yoga or Zumba classes, an SFU Athletics & Recreation Waiver must be completed.

Fall 2019 Drop-in Mindfulness Meditation Sessions

SFU Health & Counselling Services offers free, drop-in Mindfulness Meditation sessions on Fridays in the SFU Vancouver Wellness Studio. Sessions have taken a break for the summer and will begin again in September.
