There are two email newsletters distributed by SFU Vancouver to which you can add your event or announcement.

  1. SFU Vancouver Weekly Update for Staff and Faculty
    This newsletter is distributed to the internal campus community once a week on Mondays, with submission deadline the Friday prior. The audience is SFU internal, and includes campus updates, community announcements and events of interest to the SFU community. The form for submission is listed below.

  2. SFU Vancouver What's On This Week Public Events Email
    This newsletter is distributed to both the Vancouver campus and to members of the general public who are on our mail list. It features SFU hosted and major-partnered events within a one-week time frame, sent on Thursdays.
     

To include your event in this public newsletter, please add it to this calendar. Please select 'Vancouver' from the drop down menu. For inclusion in the newsletter, events taking place in the featured week must be submitted by Tuesday at 5:00 pm.


Submission form: Weekly Updates for Staff and Faculty Newsletter

  • Please have your content submitted by Friday morning for the following Monday's newsletter. (Weekly is sent on Monday afternoons at 3 p.m.)
  • Weekly content is included and approved with the audience in mind: this being staff and faculty who work primarily at SFU Vancouver.
  • Content is included for a maximum of 4 weeks and then expires, unless it is refreshed by the submitter.
  • Decisions to include or resfuse content are made under the discretion of SFU's Vancouver campus Administration and University Policy.
