On Wednesday, March 29, join SFU Vancouver's Executive Director Laurie Anderson and SFU’s Health Promotion Team for an event to build upon SFU Vancouver's Healthy Campus Community efforts.

There are many ways SFU Vancouver already promotes a healthy campus environment for everyone who attends campus but there is always room for improvement and new ideas.

A healthy campus can mean a lot of different things. At SFU Vancouver, the campus offers free wellness programs, has a doctor and counsellor on campus, hosts cycling events and free professional development opportunities for staff and faculty, among other programming.

There have also been major upgrades to space on campus including renovated study areas with colourful accents, lighting and electrical outlets; creating a more comfortable place for studying and connecting after class.

What are your ideas for how you and your campus can promote a healthy place to study, work and learn?

We look forward to hearing your suggestions on March 29 at the lunch time discussion.
