Bike to Work Week - SFU Vancouver!

Ready to ride your two-wheeler? Embark and the SFU Sustainability Office, with support from SFU Vancouver, are partnering to host a celebration station at SFU Vancouver for Bike to Work Week. 

How it works: It's easy. Ride your bike to SFU Vancouver on Wednesday, June 1st, and drop by our celebration station (entrance on Hastings Street) between 7:30 and 10:30 am.

What you'll get: Along with some high-fives, you can expect:

  • Free breakfast foods and coffee
  • A chance to win a $50 MEC gift card
  • And a whole whack of other activities.

Student Ambassador Program opportunity!

Get engaged with your SFU Vancouver community. SFU Vancouver Administration is looking for enthusiastic, positive and reliable student and alumni volunteers to welcome new and returning students and community members to campus at the start of each term. As a Campus Engagement Ambassadors you will work closely with SFU Vancouver Administration and Student Services during the first two weeks of class to help in creating a positive and welcoming campus environment.

Free yoga and wellness classes on campus!

Find some time for wellness on campus, with SFU Recreation & Athletics and SFU Health and Counselling programming. Join your SFU Vancouver campus community for a variety of free, drop-in wellness programs including Mindful Mondays, yoga, and zumba. Find out more about the SFU Vancouver Wellness Studio.

Writing labs now at SFU Vancouver!

Write time, write space— now at SFU Vancouver! The Research Commons' Graduate Open Writing Lab is for all graduate students who want the time and a quiet, dedicated space to work on their writing. A Graduate Writing Facilitator will be available for consultations and to answer questions. Registration not required - please drop in!
