SFU submitted its Year One Self Evaluation Report on August 22, 2012. This is to be followed by a Year Three Self Evaluation Report and a Year Seven Initial Accreditation Self Evaluation Report, including hosting a committee of Commission representatives in fall 2014 and again in fall 2016, respectively.

For Candidacy

NWCCU approves SFU as a candidate for accreditation at the doctoral level, effective January 11, 2012.

Initial Application

SFU's application for consideration for candidacy is submitted to the NWCCU on October 29, 2008. In its letter of January 27, 2009 NWCCU accepts SFU's application for consideration for candidacy.
