The search for a new dean can be a lengthy process. Summer 2018: Members of the search committee are elected, selected, and appointed according to Policy A13.05.
Tuesday, September 25, 2018: Vice-President, Academic and Provost Dr. Peter Keller held an Open Forum on Tuesday, September 25 to invite comments from the community regarding the opportunities, challenges, qualifications, and characteristics of the next Dean of Environment.

Early October 2018: The position description will be finalized and a call for applications will be made.
Early January 2019: Potential candidates are identified and discussed by the search committee.
Late January 2019: Interviews are held for shortlisted candidates.
February 2019: The search committee recommends the preferred candidate to the President.
