Search Timeline

The search for a new Dean and Associate Provost may span several months to allow for a comprehensive search. A consultative process with significant participation from stakeholders is essential to ensuring the search committee finds and recommends the best candidate. Input provided by our faculty, staff, students and the community is invaluable and the timeline below describes your opportunities to participate.

September 2017: Members of the search committee are elected, appointed, and selected according to Policy A13.05.

Thursday, September 26, 2017: Open Forum takes place from 9:30am - 11:00am at the Burnaby campus in WAC Bennett Library, Rm 7200.

Mid October to early November 2017: The search committee invites applications and nominations. 

Mid November 2017: Potential candidates are identified and discussed by the search committee.

Late November 2017: Interviews are held for shortlisted candidates. 

Mid December 2017: The search committee recommends the preferred candidate to the President.
