Dr. Anne Salomon

March 28, 2013

From SFU News:

Anne Salomon, an assistant professor in the School of Resource and Environmental Management, has been awarded one of five 2013 Pew Fellowships in Marine Conservation. She will use the US$150,000 three-year award to conduct a synthesis of the ecological and societal impacts of the recovering sea otter population in North America. “It’s an incredible honour,” says Salomon. “I’ve been fortunate enough to be part of several highly successful marine conservation research collaborations with coastal First Nations and Indigenous people in Alaska and British Columbia, and this award recognizes those partnerships.”
