A Field School can be described as an extended field trip, group study tour, or an off-campus delivery of Simon Fraser University courses for a group of 12 - 20 students. Each Field School is a full semester program, directed by an SFU instructor, consisting of 9 to 12 units of selected courses delivered through coursework, assignments, and field studies beginning at an SFU campus then traveling overseas to one or more locations.
