The Canadian Coalition of Women in Engineering, Science, Trades and Technology (CCWESTT) is holding its 16th biennial conference in Ottawa from May 4th -6th, with a pre-conference workshop on May 3rd. This year’s conference themes are inspired by “Seizing Canada’s Moment: Moving Forward in Science, Technology and Innovation” and Canada’s commitment to the United Nations’ new sustainable development agenda “Transforming Our World: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.” WWEST’s Dr. Lesley Shannon will be presenting at the conference with the other NSERC Chairs for Women in Science and Engineering, as well as holding a workshop on Gendered Language.
