The SFU Institute for Diaspora Research and Engagement and the Laurier Institution's DiverseCity onBoard initiative invite you to participate in a forum that will examine recent research into the diversity of governance boards in Metro Vancouver and several Canadian cities. Recommendations about policies and practices will be presented to improve diversity and strengthen inclusion in leadership, and participants will take an active role in exploring and strategizing what more can be done at the local level. Current members of governance boards, directors and senior staff of organizations with governance boards, and individuals who are interested in serving on a board or who represent the diversity of the community are all invited.
