UBC's Department of Computer Science and Ladies Learning Code are teaming up to offer a week long camp on webmaking, designed for creative girls between the ages of 9 and 13 years old who want to use technology to change the world. The camp will help girls to discover a passion for learning about technology, experience the satisfaction that comes from being a builder of the web and technology, become more confident and self-assured makers, develop a willingness to try new things, increase their knowledge of technology related careers, and, of course, have fun.

You can also sign up as a mentor and volunteer, which gets you into the camp for free!

Date: Monday, August 14 to Friday, August 18
Time: 9:30am-4:00pm
Cost: $450 for the girls, and free if you volunteer as a mentor!
Location: Department of Computer Science
