Girls Only Maker Camp 2017

What is it? The University of British Columbia and the Michael Smith Laboratories are pleased to announce their fourth annual Maker Camp. This event is open to girls going into grades 7 and 8. Girls will learn how to code, familiarize themselves with tools, and will mix STEM activities with craft activities! Featuring activities such as: Arduino programming, a metals workshop, and yarn bombing!

Update: Our very own Dr. Lesley Shannon, Chairholder of WWEST, will give a talk on July 3rd at 3:00pm!

When? July 3-7 from 9:00am to 3:30pm.
Location? Michael Smith Laboratories at UBC, Vancouver
