Women in Science and Engineering Advancement Workshop at UofC

Women Assistant and Associate Professors in science and engineering from across Canada are invited to attend a workshop to help plan the next strategic step in their career. The event is being held by the NSERC Chairs for Women in Science and Engineering, in conjunction with the University of Calgary Faculty of Sciences and Schulich School of Engineering. Attendees will get a unique opportunity to look ahead towards promotion and get advice and support on their career path from senior faculty and administrators.

Where: Senate Room, Hotel Alma, University of Calgary, Alberta. 
When: Thursday, April 28th 9:30AM to 7:30PM

Cost: Free! Thanks to the generous support of the NSERC CWSE / CRSNG CFSG RĂ©seau National Network and UofC Faculties of Science and Engineering

The event, including breakfast, lunch and dinner, is free for any Canadian women Assistant and Associate Professors to attend. There are 28 registration slots available on a first come first serve basis, with 14 positions reserved for University of Calgary participants. Attendees are responsible for their own travel arrangements and accommodations. However, there are a number of travel grants available for attendees coming from outside of Calgary to offset accommodation costs.
