Community Emergency Response Exposition - London Ont

Partners in Response '98 would like to extend an invitation to all list
members visit our web site or come to visit us in person on Friday, May 8th
and Saturday, May 9th in London Ontario. In its fifth year, Partners marks
Canada's National Emergency Preparedness Week.

This unique Emergency Response and Preparedness Exposition brings together
over 75 agencies from Police, Fire, Ambulance, Industry, Search & Rescue,
Military, Amateur Radio, and other organizations involved with assisting
the Community in times of emergency. Over 100,000 visitors are expecting to
take in the outside vehicle displays, demonstrations, and inside booths at
the Westmount Shopping Centre.

It is an excellent opportunity for people in the Region to see the wide
range of response organizations that operate in this area. It has also
provided excellent opportunities for the participating organizations to get
to know each other better in a non-emergent situation.
Some of them even utilize the demonstrations as training opportunities.
