Mt. Macbeth is a peak on the Spearhead Range, whose westernmost member is Blackcomb Mountain near Whistler BC. Macbeth is the central feature of the painting, with Curtain Glacier to its left and Fitzsimmons Creek and its associated lateral moraine below.
