Bahá'u'lláh ordains His resting place as the Qiblih. The Most Holy Tomb is at Bahjí, `Akká. - bcca.org

Find your location and follow the closest red line to the edge to determine your bearing.
Find your bearing on the compass below to see the direction to face to turn toward Bahjí for Obligatory Prayers.

For the AQ @ SFU, the location is 49° 16.6' N 122° 55.2' W
And so the Qiblih direction is 18°

Regarding how the direction to the Qiblih changes across the lower mainland,
The direction changes to 19° when you go West past 122° 49' W (ie, 122° 48' W and farther)
The direction changes to 17° when you go East past 124° 0' W (ie, 124° 1' W and farther)

To find your latitude and longitude.
To find the associated direction to Bahji.

To see what is happening try this: Stretch an elastic band along the surface of a globe
from *where you are to *Bahjí (Israel)
You will note that the acute angle made between the elastic
and the latitude line of your location is the Qiblih direction.

Lastly, after all this good stuff, I can't leave out my good friend Jason's important response:
I cannot find any Writings that indicate that one must face in the direction of
the shortest distance to Bahji, but it is a good point you have raised.

Of course such deliberations should be tempered with the following counsel:
"[Turning towards Bahji] is a physical symbol of an inner reality..."
