The MEATBOOK TECHNIQUE |

Servo motors generate The Meatbook’s mechanical pulses, throbs, and twitches. Several motors pull from multiple attach-points, producing breathing gestures and sound. Light detecting resistors sense motion; others triangulate the location of the user. The data is transmitted to Max/MSP in order to generate responsive sounds and movements. Over the next several months, we will implant muscle-wire and other actuators within the meat itself. |
