Earlier handmade limited edition flutterbooks (flutterbook press, Vancouver)

A flutterbook is a handmade booklet containing the artist's original writings and images on personal themes. The basic design consists of a folded and pasted strip of paper nestled between covers and endpapers. The covers, endpapers, illustrations, writing and overall design vary, depending on the theme. Each flutterbook is signed and numbered by the artist. Like the ancient Japanese design from which they were inspired, the wing-like pages are guaranteed to flutter softly in a breeze and to take flight in a stronger wind.
